FAQs apply to Data Analytics & Golang programs
1. Program
Our courses are currently only open to all Singapore Citizens/ Permanent Residents.
Data Analytics:
Individuals should have basic knowledge in linear algebra and statistics.
Golang:
Individuals should have basic programming knowledge (not language-specific and can be self-taught)
1. Submit your application via the form on our website.
2. Shortlisted candidates will be informed by the admissions team to undergo a short programming assessment and a screening interview.
3. Successful candidates who pass the screening process will be informed by the admissions team to enrol into the course.

As long as you maintain a 80% attendance record for each module, you will be able to continue with the course.
As the course is conducted over individual modules, you will be able to attend modules individually without having to complete all modules. However, you will not be able to withdraw midway through a particular module. If you register for all modules but drop out before completion, the payment will be prorated based on the number of modules you attended.
Yes, you will be issued a certificate of completion by Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
2. SkillsFuture Schemes & Course Fees
As a mid-careerist (graduated before January 2019), you will be eligible for the SkillsFuture-supported scheme.
SkillsFuture Benefits:
1. You receive a SkillsFuture subsidy for the courses:
- Data Analytics: Fees are only S$833.33 after subsidies (original course fee S$21,250)
- Golang: Fees are only S$666.67 after subsidies (original course fee $17,200).
You may choose to make payment upfront, or defer the payment to one month after the start of the course.
2. Receive a training allowance of S$1,200 per month, over the duration of the entire program.
- Data Analytics: Get a training allowance of S$1,200 over 10 months (4-month Course, 6-month Apprenticeship). This will total up to S$12,000 over the entire program.
- Golang: Get a training allowance of S$1,200 over 8 months (4-month Course, 4-month Apprenticeship). This will total up to S$9,600 over the entire program.
You may choose to make a one-time payment of the subsidised program fee upfront or defer the payment to after the first month of the course.
3. Apprenticeships
While apprenticeships are not guaranteed, we will facilitate the process to improve your chances of being selected by our hiring partners.
After the course
- We organise an interview process for you with our hiring partners.
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed by the respective companies if they are successful in securing an apprenticeship.
- If you have been shortlisted by more than one company, you will have the option to choose your preferred company to take on the apprenticeship with.
TechCareers has collaborated with a network of hiring partners to provide apprenticeship opportunities for mid-careerists (graduated before January 2019) who perform well in our programs.

4. Career Opportunities
TechCareers works exclusively with top-tier companies within the industry and the job positions are highly curated by our dedicated team. However, it is not mandatory to take a job if you do not feel that is suitable for you.

2. SkillsFuture Schemes & Course Fees
Eligible Singaporeans and Permanent Residents (PRs) will be able to receive SkillsFuture subsidy of 70%. Please refer to this link for more information regarding the subsidy: https://www.skillsfuture.sg/series/FAQ
Remaining Golang program fee (under GoSchool) after 70% subsidy for Singaporeans and PRs: S$4,200 (without GST).
The remaining program fee can be further offset via an Income Share Agreement (ISA). Learn more about ISAs with GoSchool here.
Yes, you may choose to pay the total program fee upfront.

3. Career Opportunities
The program for fresh graduates does not include the apprenticeship module, but you may opt to take on this module at an additional fee.
There will be a selection and interview process with our hiring partners to qualify for this apprenticeship module, and you will not have to make payment for this module until you have been shortlisted and when your position for the apprenticeship confirmed with the hiring partner.
We will facilitate the sourcing of apprenticeships and our hiring partners have allocated apprenticeship positions exclusively for our students. However, the eligibility for these positions will be contingent on the interview and selection process.
TechCareers and GoSchool work exclusively with top-tier companies within the industry and the job positions are highly curated by our dedicated team. However, it is not mandatory to take a job if you do not feel that is suitable for you.
If you already have a job and are looking to upskill yourself to progress your career, you are also more than welcome to apply for the Golang course under GoSchool. However, for applicants who are not planning to look for a new job after attending the course, the Income Share Agreement payment option will not be available.
